Valentine’s Day

This is the 16th one that Daddy and I have celebrated together. I was for sure he’d run out of ideas by now, but to my surprise, I woke up to find that he had come up with a sweet little gesture. He changed the background of my iphone to hearts and pics of us through the years. It just made me go, “aweeeee”.

You boys were each thrilled to present your gifts to me. Parker, you chose some heart decorations for my desk, and Kent you chose some plastic rings that had heart shaped bubbles attached to them. I gave you my gifts of Skittles, M and M’s, and Juicy Fruit gum.

For dinner we had heart shaped cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Daddy put on some background music, and we all enjoyed a nice candelight dinner along with sparkling cider.

For dessert, we introduced you to Fondue. While I melted the chocolate gooey goodness, Daddy cut up some bananas, Parker cut up some strawberry’s (under the attentive eye of us), and Kent arranged the pretzels for dipping. You boys loved the fondue, and I loved  watching you eat it with wide eyes!

To end the evening, Daddy washed all the dishes for me, chartered the bedtime routine, and then he and I relaxed together the rest of the night.
